IS FAMILY NIGHT!
First Baptist Church serves an
evening meal on Wednesday evenings for you and your family. Visitors
are welcome. There is a small charge to cover expenses; family
maximum $20.00. Serving between 5:30pm and 6:00pm. Wednesday
night is a great time to see all of the activities going on at
FBC!

Summer
Time Carpet Project
Many of you know the carpet in
the preschool hallway and the Fellowship Hall is long overdue
for replacement. Many have suggested that we have a congregational
fund drive to replace this carpet. The Trustees have approved
this fund drive. The $18,000 includes:
• Cost of the carpet which
is high-grade industrial level carpet squares.
• Cost of the adhesive to hold the carpet squares.
• Cost of removing (if needed) the asbestos tile that is
underneath the present carpet.
We believe we have enough individuals in the church family that
can replace the carpet. But, we need your help and commitment
to raise the monies to buy the supplies. We have pledge cards
available or you can call the office and make your pledge over
the phone.
The urgency behind the project
is the small time frame we have from start to finish (July 19-August
19). So we need your help now so this project can be finished
before our Fall programs begin. Please pledge or give generously
today!
Singled-Out
Events
Singled-Out to Lunch Bunch - Each Sunday after the 11:00am worship service.
Singles are invited each Sunday to gather in the Fellowship Hall
and go out to a local restaurant (dutch treat).
