PrimeTime & Open Gym
Each Wednesday Night we open up the FMC for
Basketball, games (come and check out the new Game Room), and
Hang time before and after PRIMETIME. Open Gym is from 6-6:30
and from 7:30-8:30.
PrimeTime, 6:30-7:30 is a time where we creatively look at the
issues facing the lives of students and how to use the tools
God gives us to live out our faith. Currently we are looking
at "THE EXPERIENCE", how to learn and live the will
of God. Multi-media, games, student input through discussion
and prayer are just a part of what goes into making PrimeTime
a dynamic and effective time.
Music/Worship opportunities
Praise Band - We have a new Praise band!
Made up entirely of our students, they play recent praise songs
and current songs by artists such as John Mayer to praise God
and to use music to teach/inspire/lead. They practice on Sunday
afternoons at 5 and will play on Wednesday nights, Sunday mornings,
and at other times. We have a drummer, bassist, 3 guitarists,
keyboard player and vocals. Some, including our keyboard player
are seniors who will graduate soon. There is room for others
to join us.
Handbells - Each Sunday at 4:15
the ultimate in team music takes place when handbells are played,
they also go to a special conference each year. See Betsy Farmer
if interested.
Small Group Bible Study
Solid Bible study to help you live life full
blast. We meet in the FMC on Sunday Mornings at 9:45 a.m., and
we use FUEL which combines many learning medias to make the Bible
come alive. Our teachers love students and are seeking to be
the men and women God want them to be, and seek to help students
to do so as well.
